2Cor5:20 ‘So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” (NLT)
We are ambassadors or representatives of Christ here on earth. We have an important task to present Christ’s Kingdom to the World. Thank you, Father, for making us, worthy representatives.

2Kor 5:19 ‘naamlik dat God in Christus die wêreld met Homself versoen het deur hulle hul misdade nie toe te reken nie en die woord van die versoening aan ons toe te vertrou. ‘ (AOV)
God het Homself met die wêreld (my insluitend) versoen en het my sonde afgeskryf deur dit wat Jesus Christus gedoen het. Ek is nou met Vader versoen.

2Co 5:19 ‘that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.’ (ESV)
Through Christ, God reconciled the world (that include me) to Himself. He doesn’t count my sin to me because of what Jesus Christ did. I am reconciled to Father God.

2Kor 5:17 ‘Daarom, as iemand in Christus is, is hy ‘n nuwe skepsel; die ou dinge het verbygegaan, kyk, dit het alles nuut geword.’ (AOV)
Ek is in Christus! Daarom is die ou ek dood en leef ek nou vanuit my nuwe gees wat splinternuut is in Christus.

2Co 5:17 ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.’
I am in Christ! That is why the old I am dead and I now live from my new spirit which is brand new in Christ.

2Kor 3:5 (4-6) ‘4 Dit is die vertroue wat ons op God stel, deur die bemiddeling van Christus 5 Nie dat ons op eie houtjie iets kan bedink asof dit ons eie breinkind is nie. Ons bekwaamheid kom van God, 6 wat ons bekwaam gemaak het om as bedienaars van die nuwe verbond op te tree, nie met die wet as inhoud nie, maar met die Gees as inhoud. Want die letter maak dood, maar die Gees maak lewend. ‘(NLV)
Ek is bekwaam deur wat Jesus gedoen het en deur die Gees kan ek ander bedien in die nuwe verbond. Dankie Jesus!

2Cor3:5 (4-6) ‘4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of the new covenant – not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.’ (NIV)
I am competent because of what Jesus did, and through the Spirit I am competent to minister to other in the new covenant. Thank you, Jesus!
