Ons identiteit word dikwels gevorm deur dit wat met ons en om ons gebeur, maar dit is die wêreld se mening, nie God se mening nie.

Kom ons verklaar en bevestig ons ID in Christus volgens:

die opsomming uit Galasiërs:

  • Omdat ek in Christus glo, is ek ‘n geloofskind van Abrham ons vader van geloof in God (Gal3:7) en ook net só geseënd. Dankie Vader!(Gal3:9)
  • Ek is deur geloof in Jesus, vrygespreek en reg voor God en geseënd! Dankie Vader God! (Gal3:8)
  • Dankie Jesus, U het die vloek namens ons op die kruis gedra, sodat ons vry is van die sondelas en die vloek! (Gal3:13)
  • Ek glo in Jesus Christus se voltooide werk op die kruis, daarom is ek geseën met dieselfde seëning as Abraham en ek het ook die Heilige Gees deur geloof ontvang. (Gal3:14)

  • Because I believe in Christ, I am a child of faith of Abraham, our father of faith in God (Gal3:7) and just as blessed. Thank You, Father God! (Gal3:9)
  • Through faith in Jesus, I am free and perfect in God’s sight (justified, righteous) and blessed. Thank You, Father God! (Gal3:8)
  • Thank You, Jesus, You bore the curse on our behalf on the cross so that we are free from the burden of sin and the curse! (Gal3:13)
  • I believe in Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross. I am blessed with the same blessing as Abraham, and I received the Holy Spirit by faith. (Gal3:14)

  • Deur geloof in Jesus, is ek is vry. Hy het my bevry van die slawerney van sonde en die wet. (Gal2:4,16)
  • Ek is regverdig voor God deur my geloof in Jesus. (Gal2:4)
  • Ek is saam met Jesus gekruisig en Hy leef nou in my en ek in Hom, deur geloof en vertroue vir altyd. (Gal2:20)
  • Dankie Vader, dat ons geloof in Jesus ons vrymaak (geregtig) en ons, sonder sonde voor U kan staan. (Gal3:5-6)

  • I was crucified with Jesus through my faith and trust in Jesus. Now He lives in me and I in him.
  • Thank You, Father, that our faith in Jesus sets us free (righteous) and that we can stand before You without sin. (Gal 3: 5-6)

GALASIËRS 4:6‭-‬7 ‘En omdat julle sy kinders is, het God die Gees van sy Seun gestuur om in ons te lewe. Die Gees in ons roep voortdurend na God: “Abba!” – wat die Aramese woord is vir “Vader”. 7 Jy is dus nie meer slaaf nie, maar kind. En as sy kind het God jou sy erfgenaam gemaak!’ (NLV)

Ek is kind en erfgenaam deur Christus, nie ‘n slaaf (van die sonde) nie! Ek het ‘n Pa wat my liefhet en my bemagtig.

Galatians 4:6‭-‬7 ‘And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” 7 Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.’ NLT

I am a child and heir by Christ, not a slave (of sin)! I have a Dad who loves me and empowers me.

Ek is ‘n kind van God en die Heilige Gees leef in my! Ek noem my hemelse Pa Abba! Wat ‘n besonderse voorreg!

(Die Heilige Gees leef in my. Ek noem Hom Abba, omdat ek ‘n kind van God is.)

I am a child of God, and the Holy Spirit lives in me! I call my heavenly Father, Abba! That is awesome!

Ek het Jesus aangeneem, ek is ‘n erfgenaam van die belofte! (Ef3:6; 2:16) Dankie Jesus!
