We form our identity by what happens to us. That is not what God says about us. We are princes and princesses in God’s Kingdom.
We declare our Royal Identity according to what God tells us, in:
Psa 100:5 ‘For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.’ ESV
