Your Identity in Christ

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

1Co 1:30 ‘But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—’ (NKJV)

Christ became for me the wisdom from God. The result is, I am in Christ and I am in right standing (righteous), holy and redeemed before God. Thank you, Jesus!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

1Cor 1:2 ‘To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:’ (NKJV)

Paul address us as, sanctified (set apart, made holy) in Christ and called saints (God’s people).

Therefore I declare, I am holy and set apart for Christ!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:38 ‘For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ (NKJV)

I have no doubt and am fully persuaded that God loves me! Jesus also loves me and nothing can separate me from this wonderful everlasting love. Not even my sin.

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:37 ‘Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’ (NKJV)

Jesus’ love makes us conquerors. Thank You Jesus, we are victorious through Your love!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:32 ‘He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?’ (NKJV)

I received all things God has! Thank you, Father, for your grace and that You even gave us your Son.

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:26 ‘Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.’ (NKJV)

I have Holy Spirit in me, who helps me and intercede on my behalf. What a wonderful blessing and privilege!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Joh 3:17 ‘For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.’ (NKJV)

I am saved from the sin-nature because Jesus became man to redeem me. I am grateful and blessed!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:17 ‘ and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.’

This is wonderful, I am an heir with and through Jesus Christ! When we suffer together, we will also be glorified together. Thank you, Jesus!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:17 ‘and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. ‘(NKJV)

As a child of God, I am an heir with Christ. We will be glorified with Him just as we suffer (death to sin) with Him. (2Tim2:11,12)

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (NKJV)

I am a child of God because His Spirit leads me! It is wonderful and a great blessing. Thank You, Jesus.
