Ons identiteit word dikwels gevorm deur dit wat met ons en om ons gebeur, maar dit is die wêreld se mening, nie God se mening nie.

Kom ons verklaar en bevestig ons ID in Christus volgens:

Gal 2:16 ‘terwyl ons weet dat die mens nie geregverdig (vryespreek) word uit die werke van die wet nie, maar alleen deur die geloof in Jesus Christus, selfs ons het in Christus Jesus geglo, sodat ons geregverdig kan word uit die geloof in Christus en nie uit die werke van die wet nie; omdat uit die werke van die wet geen vlees geregverdig sal word nie.’ (AOV)

Dankie Jesus, dat ons regverdig is deur geloof in U. Dankie dat ons sonder sonde voor God kan staan. Jesus, deur U is ons vry en regverdig voor God.

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Galatians 2:16 ‘yet we know that a man is not justified [and placed in right standing with God] by works of the Law, but [only] through faith in [God’s beloved Son,] Christ Jesus. And even we [as Jews] have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law. By observing the Law no one will ever be justified [declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty].’ (AMP)

Thank You, Jesus, that we are justified by faith in You. Thank You that we can stand before God without sin. Jesus, through You we are free and just (in right standing) before God.

Kom ons verklaar en bevestig ons ID in Christus volgens:

Gal2:16 ‘weet dat niemand deur die wet te onderhou deur God vrygespreek word nie. Net deur die geloof in Jesus Christus kan dit gebeur! Selfs ons het tot geloof in Christus Jesus gekom sodat ons deur geloof, en nie omdat ons die wet onderhou nie, deur God vrygespreek kan word. Niemand sal mos deur die wet te onderhou deur God vrygespreek word nie!’ (NLV)

Dankie Jesus, dat slegs geloof in U my vry maak! Ek is vry as gevolg van wat U gedoen het!

Gal2:16 ‘Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” ‘ (NLT)

Thank you, Jesus, that only faith in You sets me free! I am free because of what You did!

Gal1:4 ‘Net ‘n paar skyngelowiges het daarop aangedring. Hulle het die byeenkomste binnegesluip om te kom spioeneer op die vryheid wat ons in Christus Jesus het. Hulle doel was om ons weer slawe te maak.’ (NLV)

Dankie, Jesus, dat U my bevry het van die slawerny van sonde en die wet. Ek is vry in Jesus Christus!

Let us declare and establish our Identity in Christ according to:

Gal 2:4 ‘Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery—’ (ESV)

Thank You, Jesus, for freeing me from the bondage of sin and the law. I am free in Jesus Christ!

Psa 139:14 ‘Ek wil U loof, want U het my op ‘n wonderbaarlike wyse geskep. Wat U gedoen het, vervul my met verwondering.’ (ANV)

Dankie Vader, dat U my só wonderlik gemaak het, dit is ‘n raaisel (onbegryplik) vir my verstand!

Psa 139:14 ‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’ (NKJV)

Thank You, Father, for making me so wonderfully, it’s a mystery (incomprehensible) to my mind!
